What a player, Reggie and I were the only freshmen on the 71-72 Long Island Luthern Basketball Team. He will be miss.

Reggie and I were the only freshmen on the 1971-72 Long Island Luthern High School Basketball Team. He was good than he will be miss. My heart is sadden may god bless his children and family.

reggie carter was a good man not only on the basketball court but off the court i'm 24 years old right now reggie carter was my first grade teacher in p.s. 181 in brownsville brooklyn he sure was a giant to us when i was in 1st grade i was amazed at his height and i remember asking reggie carter do u play basketball he was like yes i use to play for the new york knicks and as soon as he said that i had a big smile on my face because my father loves the knicks and to this day he still does so from that day i was proud to have reggie carter as my teacher because i had a star as my teacher after the end of the school year reggie carter gave the whole class a new york knicks poster of himself to remember him of course i lost it as the years went on its been 18 years since i saw him and i looked him up online on the computer to find out that he passed away at age 42 it broke my heart to hear this reggie carter you will never be forgotten [smiley=happy]
