I went to school with Carl, he was a tremendous player in high school and college. I believe call have the skill set and mentality to play in the NBA. he is still a legend in his hometown.

Carl Boyd was a prolific player, both at Porterville College (JC) and later at Cal. He was known and loved for his "tomahawk dunk," and a demonstration pic of this skill graced electronic billboards throughout San Francisco and Oakland during his tenure at Cal. I know that Carl went on to play International and US Basketball, but I believe he had both the skill and the heart to play professionally in the NBA. Carl Boyd is sorely missed and remains in the heart of basketball lovers throughout the country! All the best is wished for him, today and always!
