He might not be a complete bust, he could be anywhere from a Luke Jackson/Steve Novak type to a more athletic Wally Szczerbiak. He's tall and he can shoot, and will be a 1st rounder no matter when he comes out, and would actually have to put a pretty bad year to convince otherwise. He'll go to a team and provide an offensive spark, and in the long run could provide energy and a steady supply of scoring. Scouts love shooting and athleticism, and Budinger leaves them plenty to drool upon.

Chase doesn't have a shot in the NBA...he's too passive & lacks the go-to-guy skills. I can see him running around the perimeter, hoping for the ball to be passed to him, only to realize that he's the last option on every NBA play call. Too one-dimensional, can't create, and will be relegated to a spot role player in the NBA...a tall Juan Dixon at best (pardon my lack of reference depth, but you get what I mean).

Stay at UofA kid, that team needs you next year...
