Strengths: Tremendous scorer with the ability to reel off big points in a short amount of time … Great ball handler for his size capable of bringing the ball up the court or taking his man off the dribble … Owns a quality first step to gain separation from his defender … Once in the lane Brumbaugh possesses the body control and length to convert in traffic … Has an underrated basketball IQ that allows him to recognize mismatches and exploit them to his advantage … Owns great court vision which enables him to see the floor for open teammates … Has legit NBA three point range on his jumper … Quality rebounder who uses his length to gain boards out of his position … A natural lefty which automatically gives him an advantage on most defenders that are accustomed to defending right handed players … Plays the game with passion and emotion … Doesn’t back down from anything and has the will to dominant opposing teams … Excellent runner in the open court where his length enables him to be a great finisher in transition … Defensively, he has great anticipation skills and quick hands to play passing lanes for steal opportunities … Aggressive at attacking the basket to create contact and draw fouls … Once on the line Brumbaugh is an excellent free throw shooter … Owns a solid turnaround jumper that he can make with some regularity … Feel for the game is tremendous, as one needs to consider the fact that after almost two years of non-organized ball, Brumbaugh simply dominated junior college basketball in one of the nation's premier JUCO conferences … After speaking with Coach Worrels, Brumbaugh is said to be a very coachable player who learns quickly without repeated instruction ... Unselfish player who despite his scoring ability looks to pass to teammates ...
Weaknesses: A good athlete, but not an explosive player capable of dominating his opponents with his athleticism … Hasn’t improved tremendously on his upper body strength since high school … This can hinder him when absorbing contact on drives to the basket … Defensively, he has shown great improvement when defending on the perimeter, but remains a work in progress … Some of this has to do with his lateral movement, but it's fortunate that it's something he can correct … Brumbaugh doesn’t possess the wingspan usually accompanied by someone of his size … Settles a great deal shooting three point shots from the perimeter … This could be due to his mid-range game which has shown progress since high school, but is still an afterthought for Brumbaugh who clearly prefers to shoot threes or drive to the basket … Doesn’t always let the game come to him and has a tendency to rush himself, but to his credit this could be attributed to him being the primary scoring option on his team … Shot selection can be questionable at times … Off the court issues from his past have been well chronicled, which could alarm some teams, but Brumbaugh has kept his nose clean this year … Tends to reach too much on defense for steals instead of moving his feet … Needs to improve on moving without the ball - tends to dominant the ball offensively … Will viewed as a high risk high reward pick …

Keith BrumbaughGuest, Unregistered He is so good...  7. How about for the first round?Leonard, Unregistered He easily posted better numbers than Shawn Marion. He has more ball handling and decision making skills. He's a better fit for NBA teams because he gives you a little of everything, and he wants it more than the other guys. He has more to prove, so he'll be much better. Brumbaugh has elite athleticism, and could be a poor man's Pippen, or maybe like Rudy Gay. I really like Brumbaugh's game, he's a definite sleeper. 6. BrumbaughGuest, Unregistered I had the privledge to play against Amare Stoudamire and Keith Brumbaugh when they where at Cypress Creek and Deland (respectively). While Keith was not as strong as Amare on the inside, Amare did not hold a tee to Keith on the outside however. This kid is polished and is a serious talent. If he can stay out of trouble (like Amare did), the limit is the sky. Think Rudy Gay with 20 more pounds of muscle. Good Luck Keith.
