Sam Sibert was the 1st pick of the newly franchised Kansas City Omaha Kings, formerly the Cincinnati Royals, signin a 3 year, two year no cut contract. He was a member of the Kentucky State Thoroughbreds winning two of three national N.A.I.A. Championship of '71 & '72. He was an All American from Eastern Okalahoma State and an All American from Crane Tech High School in Chicago, Illinois.
