Strengths: Excellent player in the open court has wonderful body control and leaping ability ... Has a NBA ready body that will be able to take the rigors of an 82-game schedule ... Great finisher fearless in transition ... Slasher loves to take the ball hard to the hoop and go for the big jam ... Has all the necessary tools such as quick hands, lateral quickness, and anticipation to become a good defender on the next level ... Can make an impact on the boards due to his leaping ability ... Tremendous athlete easily one of the top 5 in the draft ... Has 3-point range on his jump shot ...
Weakness: Not a very consistent shooter from the perimeter goes through periods where his shot becomes streaky ... Doesn't really have that killer take over a game type attitude simply plays at times too passive ... While he is a slasher his ball handling isn't the best as he has a bad habit of turning the ball over ... Hasn't really played that many high level games in his career ... At Wichita St. Evans was a superstar the talent level jump was evident as Evans did have some problems adjusting to the level of play in his first season paying in the Big-12 ... While he does have 3-point range he isn't what on would call a consistent threat ...
