I'll never forget watching Dave play for Lutheran West. I went to St. Mary's of Redford and we played West in the districts in 1973 and 1974 at St. Mary's. I was in junior high at the time. He torched us in both games for well over 40 points, though in 1974 we beat them on our way to the semifinals.
