We travelled to I State in 1976 with our (CYC) Chicago Youth Center team to try and get a scholarship offer. The coach told us, "whoever could beat Billy in a one on one, could get a scholarship". Of course those who played him didn't have a chance! I hope alls going well with Billy, great talent!

He was more than just a good College player. He was awesome! He was OUR guy leading a really good ISU team. My Brother always got me tickets for good games and he said there was a really good matchup with Billy and Indiana State's hot shot forward. Great game, Illinois State WON.....turns out the 'other guy for Indiana State was none other than Larry Bird....your Dad was an awesome player. Please extend my very best wishes from a grateful Redbird fan.

This is my dad! I am soo excited to see this out there. He was a great basketball player in high school and a pretty good one in college. He has 4 children, 3 of which played college ball as well. This was sooo awesome to see!
