In 1969 was in us army, ft Bragg my wife of couple of month would watch you religiously. You were in college and played for the gamecocks. My wife now for 43 years were in a conversation about our favorites during those embryo years of our marriage. We would watch you on Friday and sometimes Saturday night . We looked u up by your name and discovered your wonderful years as aba,nba and attorney. Glad you are still alive. We were hooked on u during your college yr as basketball player. Hope all is well with u and yours.
just Reminiscing!

John Roche was a most special player and along with Tom Owens, brought U. of South Carolina to college basketball prominence. No one could steal the ball from Roche. He was absolutely incredible. He made my college days at South Carolina very memorable.

I don't have enough accolades for John. I will never forget that Friday night in Charlotte when the Gamecocks beat UNC 68-66 and John scored 38. Dick Grubar and Charley Scott fouled out trying to guard him. Unbelievable court saavy!

John was a great basketball player and was never over looked in NYC. I did not like to guard him because he had all the talent to run the show. Thanks John for the fun
