2002 Scouting Report:

Strengths: Has a NBA ready body strong enough to absorb most contact that occurs in the lane ... Once he gets deep position in the lane Gadzuric can finish with a aggressive power dunk ... Has started to develop some low post moves such as a short hook shot and even a decent turnaround jumper ... Does a good job of setting himself on the blocks where he is often too strong for most defenders to push off ... Runs the floor very well for a player his size ... Above average shot-blocker due to his long arms and excellent timing ... Good rebounder who has shown the ability to be dominant at times ... Posses a descent work ethic as he has fundamentally in various areas of the game ... Due to his physical presence in the lane he does a good job of drawling fouls ... Shot selection is pretty good as Gadzuric doesn’t really force shots that he can’t make ...

Weakness: Chronic knee injuries have plagued him throughout his career and have hampered his progress ... Although he has improved offensively he still remains raw and could stand more variety in his low post moves ... Doesn’t show much range on his jumper nor does he seem comfortable facing the basket ... Poor perimeter defender as he is still learning how to play defense ... While he does a good job of drawing fouls his free throw shooting limits him from using it to his advantage ... Double teams can trouble him because he doesn’t protect the ball all that well ... Can get into foul trouble as he has a tendency to get overly aggressive for his own good ... Has struggled with confidence and consistency throughout his 4 years at UCLA ... Hasn’t really improved as much as many expected and will still be a project for whatever team selects him ... While his post footwork has improved during his four years it could stand to be worked on as it goes through periods of choppiness ...
