Quick Facts: Mullins won basketball gold in the 1964 Olympics. In the NBA he achieved 3-time All-Star status (in 1969, 1970, and 1971) and was on the Warriors' 1975 championship team. After the pros he is credited with revitalizing the UNC-Charlotte basketball program in the late '80s and early '90s following the exit of former coach Hal Wissel. Duke University retired Mullins' #44 jersey in 1994.
