Unbelievable talent, greatest scorer in NBA history. Lived in Milwaukee when he came up; my best friends brother, after he saw the first box score after Lew had changed his name to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar said, "wow, who is this new guy, now we will have 2 great players with him and Lew Alcindor." Watched him in the playoffs with Milwaukee stymie the Lakers and Wilt, though, to be fair, Wilt was in his mid 30's by then. Ah, those were the days. Inch for inch, Kareem is the greatest basketball player ever. Sadly, because he was aloof and outspoken, America never really accepted him. He also is a terrific writer. All the best Kareem, you were the best!
