I spent much of last week at Willies bedside along with his children at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo, Michigan. I returned home this past Friday. When I got the call last Sunday doctors had given Willie 24-72 hours to live based on the two strokes he had one after the other. When I left the hospital on Friday Willie was paralyzed on the right side, can only see out of his left eye and he has lost his speech. However his son Xxxx called me on Saturday and said that Willie could now respond to simple requests by nodding his head and squeezing with his left hand. Doctors said he will probably go to a nursing home and they dont expect much more improvement than that. I think doctors only give the gravest reports and when there is improvement they say hes a fighter. Willies condition is in Gods hands now.
Join me in a Prayer for Willie.
