I just recently was made aware of Kims passing. As I read all of the comments regarding Kim (in particular the ones of his close family friends and daughter), I found myself thinking how much I missed by losing touch with him over the years. I was blessed to play basketball with Kim at CSI and at least keep in touch for brief time when he left for San Diego State. Besides his true gift for the game and a great teammate, he always took time to sit and talk if you had any issues (as all college students do). We took many trips together from CSI to Moscow to visit friends, family and in my case a girl friend that I had at the time. The long trip was made more enjoyable discussing life after CSI and what the future held. He had a unique ability to make you laugh until your side hurt. He was the master of coming up with words that couldn't be found in any dictionary and trying to make you think you just had never heard of them. Stephanie, remember all the good thoughts of your Dad. I live in Idaho but spend a week a month in CA (I believe that is where you live). Let me know if you and your Mom would ever like to get together. My heart felt prayers and with you.

I played along one of the greatest shooters of all time!! If the three point line was there when he played, he would have owned all of the scoring records for each school he attended. The corner club golf tourney won't be the same without ya!! Guess God needed a shooter for his team!! We all miss ya Leapin' Reesmitter Gotez!!
