Went to college with Andrew Toney in Lafayette La.
Thoroughly enjoyed his later success in NBA. Quick first step, impossible to contain. Just ask the Celtics! Hall of Famer if not for stress fractures

Huge Sixers fan and Toney was my favorite player. The Boston Strangler was a cold blooded assassin and one of the best clutch players in NBA history. Thanks for the great memories and bringing a title to Philly Andrew !!

My favorite player. Philly loves Andrew Toney and is tremendously grateful for his amazing talent and devotion. Thx Andrew for the glory you brought to my favorite team. Shame on Harold Katz.

Indeed. If it weren't for injuries, he'd be in the Hall of Fame. I love the fact that he played on a team full of all-time greats (Dr. J, Moses Malone, Charles Barkley, Maurice Cheeks, and Bobby Jones), yet he still had nice stats. If he were on a team that needed him to be their number one option, I think he could've averaged 30ppg.
