Played a lot of playground ball with guys
In that era. I knew Ted Haynies sister.
Saw the 67 Championship game @ Cole FH.
They put on a clinic. Ted Haynie 6' guarded
Willy Allen 6'6" and held him to single
Digits. My Wildcats dominated that night
72-41.
Saw the 64 point game. Harold played about 2/3 of that game. Along with Mark Christian they were the greatest players I ever saw.
I was a bench rider on the RMHS team and you're spot on! "Destroyed" is exactly the right word. I got in the game with about 5 minutes left and had the dubious task of guarding Harold Fox. He took pity on me, just smiled and passed the ball. I felt like a young brash gunfighter who life had just been spared. What a time!
