Melchiorre was the greatest college basketball player I have ever seen. Too bad Bradley hasn't retire his jersey. Bradey then (1950) had a president that was a disgrace in every way, and some of the faculty was just as bad. Melchiorre took the fall because he was the biggest name involved, but it was one of his team mates that made the connection with the gamblers.
