To say Hill "was robbed" is an understatement. His own NBA teammates deliberately froze him out of the offense, according to a TV documentary I recently saw on the African American presence in basketball. Hills so-called "teammates" on the former St.Louis Hawks would not pass him the ball. Hill, who was interviewed for the documentary, remains mystified at his treatment decades after it occurred.

Cleo Hill was a truly exceptional player. I hope that this generation will start to look into these players and understand the issues that surrounded them. Not just the fact that he played only 58 games in the NBA. Hill was robbed plain and simple.

I was watching a show on ESPN2 on College Basketball and they say he was one of the best players of his era. He looks like he could score from any where and he put on dribbling exebition. Great college player
