Not this past CAA tournament but the one prior, I sat behind some scouts for chicago, cleveland and 2 other teams (couldnt make out their notes..hehe) but they were writing down tons of notes on maynor, and that was 2 seasons ago.

I think Eric is a pretty good pg and if you saw his last game v.s UCLA u would agree...very poised floor general....George Hill..bad comparison he is a better player than Collision,Mills, and Teague and defiantly has better shot selection and passing than Curry who seems to become quiet when playing better teams and i will not be surprised if he is selected before them...GM's and Scouts are soley in it for potential anymore they need instant production and versatility and thats what he brings to the table.

Umm no Eric is talented but if he goes in the top 15 he can thank that due to low talent not pure ability. At his best he is a George Hill type status. Teague, Curry, Patrick Mills and maybe Ty Lawson or Darren Collison are better prospects. Make not mistake Maynor can play. But how high does he really go in a normal draft year.

Eric is the most purely talented Point Guards that I have seen in about 15 years. I know that he will be drafted as high in the First Round of the 2009 NBA Draft as Pick #12, and no later than Pick #16. I have some inside information from a few clubs in the NBA that have been scouting him hardcore. This kid deserves all the attention he is getting. He is nothing short of sensational!!
