Dave Stallworth and I played on the same high school basketball and football team at James Madison High in Dallas, Texas in 1959-1960. He is the greatest basketball player that has ever played at James Madison High School. Most of the students and teachers loved him. My only regret for Dave and I is that we started smoking cigarettes while in High School, and like me, I believe that the smoking played a significant role in his heart complications.

I wish I knew where he is presently living. It would be a blessings to speak with him once again.

One of the greatest college players ever,it would have been interesting to see how great he would have become if not for a heart condition. He was just coming into his own when he had to sit out two years and he was never quite the same player again.Would have been a lock to be a 20 point scorer if his career hadn't been interupted.
