Growing up in the "CHI" u read and hear some much about basketball players such as I.Thomas,M.Aquire,T.Cummings,E.Winters,V.Winters,R .Cross, L.Bush, and host of many others. In 1985 I was a senior and I met Ben, Terry Sampson, out at Gately during a football. We all talked about the up coming season and just hung out as teenagers do. I was playing for Amundsen High School on the Northside of the "CHI" and came home and was told that Ben Wilson was shot. I couldn't believe it.Chicago first(#1)player in the nation had been killed on by his school. WOW! If Ben had lived University of Illnois would have one it all in "1989". Gang Banging is a waste of time and it's played OUT! Thanks for the good times Mr. Ben WILSON. Peace Be Upon You. I love the "CHI" the Bull, Bears, Cubs, SOX, FIRE,SKY , DEPAUL, Illnois, and HIGH SCHOOL Basketball & Football. I am "THE CHI"#1 Southside#1

Was viciously murdered on the streets of Chicago during a pick up gang. Apparently he was similar to Magic Johnson. Rest in Peace
