Dick Barnett was one of the greatest basketball players to ever play in Indiana and to play for a historical Black College. Nicknamed "Skull" when he played at Tennessee State A & I in Nashville, Tennessee, he is the only player to garner all American honors three years and to be MVP twice of the tournament. Dr. Barnett is also the best example that Sports is but a stepping stone to greatness.
