Still don't understand why some guys (Holup and Rollins) played four years of varsity ball but others were not allowed. All the other guys on this page had to play freshman ball because the NCAA said so. Seems inconsistent.

If it wasn't for Bill Russell, the Celtics would never be 11 time NBA champions. The way the Celtics acquired Russell from St. Louis in exchange for Easy Ed Macauley and Cliff Hagan was the one that got the Celtics going uphill. It was great.
